Mercedes and Hamilton are not going to put pressure on each other

Lewis Hamilton's seventh world title is a fact, but not yet a new commitment to the Mercedes team. Negotiations between the 35-year old driver and the German race team have not even started yet. Even though the world championship has already been won, talks between the two parties may not start until after the end of the season.  Mercedes and Hamilton will not allow themselves to be put under pressure. Team boss Toto Wolff does not set a deadline for a new agreement. There is a chance that contract negotiations will start after the last race in Abu Dhabi.
