Auto, Motor und Sport: 'Red tyre was a handicap for Verstappen'

According to Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen it wouldn't have mattered much if the Dutchman had started on the medium tyre, but according to the German Auto, Motor und Sport, the Red Bull driver was disabled to start the race.
