Ferrari driver saw podium coming: "Max turned out to be a bit too fast in the end"

Charles Leclerc just fell short for a podium place on Sunday, but the 23-year-old driver is nevertheless very satisfied. The SF1000 performed better this weekend and that is encouraging for the remaining weekends this season for the Italian team.  "To a certain extent I had the podium in mind," Leclerc is quoted by Motorsport-Total.com, among others, after the Portuguese Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver had to settle for fourth place and scored 12 World Championship points. "Max turned out to be a bit too fast in the end."
