Historic Portuguese F1 circuits: Ayrton Senna won his first GP in Portugal

The Portuguese Grand Prix this weekend will not be the first time the F1 will travel to Portugal for a Grand Prix. Between 1984 and 1996 Portugal was a regular guest and in the early years of F1 there have been a number of races on Portuguese soil. This weekend we will drive at the Autodromo Internacional Do Algarve, which will be the first time in F1 history. On which circuits did the F1 drive before? It started at Circuito da Boavista and at Circuito de Monsanto. Both circuits were streetcircuits and also presented some danger. That's why 1960 was the last year that the F1 went to Portugal.
