Hamilton’s seventh victory of the season has moved him level with the seven-time champion on 91 race victories, at a venue the German won at five times throughout his career. Schumacher has held the record for most victories since 2001, where he surpassed Alain Prost for 51 wins. Hamilton overtook Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas and went on to take his seventh win from the opening 11 races of the 2020 season, as Bottas ultimately retired with engine trouble to suffer a blow to his hopes of winning the title. ...
