Hamilton Equals Schumacher’s Win Record To Extend Championship Lead

Lewis Hamilton has won the Eifel Grand Prix to equal Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 Formula One grand prix victories and extend his lead in the Championship to 69 points. Hamilton started the race second on the grid and momentarily overtook team-mate Valtteri Bottas in the first sequence of corners, before the Finn quickly retook the lead.
