Perez keeping 2021 talks private out of ‘respect'

Sergio Perez won't be spilling the beans on his talks with potential 2021 teams, saying he is choosing to 'respect' their current line ups. Last month Perez was dropped by Racing Point, informed by the team that his seat would be taken by Sebastian Vettel. Although Perez had a contract in place for 2021, team owner Lawrence Stroll wanted Vettel alongside his son, Lance, and paid the Mexican driver off. Perez has no intention of taking the money and running. Instead he wants a new job in Formula 1.
