Racing Point hire Jefferson Slack as marketing chief

Jefferson Slack, a former marketing manager for Michael Jordan and CEO of Inter Milan has been hired by Racing Point as the team charges ahead with its mission to become one of the biggest teams Formula 1. Set to become Aston Martin's works team next year, the Silverstone outfit, owned by Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll, has issued a clear signal of intent with the signing of Slack to the newly-created role of Managing Director for Commercial and Marketing.
