W Series fixed as from 2021 in support programme Formula 1?

In 2021, a new racing class may be added to the support programme for Formula 1: the W Series. There is uncertainty as to the survival of the DTM. The options for the class are now being investigated. The W Series has been running as a supporting programme for the DTM since 2019. The plan was also to see the women's racing class in Formula 1 racing weekends in the United States and Mexico. However, this plan could be scrapped because the W Series decided to cancel the whole season due to the corona virus.
