Wolff: "Not sure if the team principal concept still works in F1".

Besides the silly season for drivers, there is also a lot of speculation about the future of a figure like Toto Wolff. Under his leadership Mercedes broke all records, but according to Wolff the workload is starting to take its toll. What's more, he thinks his current position is a bit old-fashioned. "I'm not sure that the concept of team boss still works in Formula 1," said Wolff to Channel 4 during the race weekend at Mugello. "I am responsible for 2000 people, 1000 at the engine department and 1000 at the factory. Should one person bear the responsibility and liability?"
