Racing Point drops 'brake duct' appeal as F1 teams reach resolution for 2021

Racing Point has dropped its appeal against the FIA's decision to punish the team for using brake ducts that transgressed the technical rules. The Silverstone-based team was fined 400,000 and docked 15 championship points for using on its 2020 car a brake duct design copied from Mercedes' 2019 W11. Racing Point had appealed the verdict while Ferrari also joined the legal proceedings as it contested the leniency of the judgment.
