Sainz ‘lost for words' losing P4 after last-lap tyre failure

The 2020 British Grand Prix hosted many travesties and tragedies over the course of it's 52-lap race, notably the multitude of tyre delaminations in the closing laps. Whilst Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team's ‘ Lewis Hamilton managed to limp to victory, Carlos Sainz Jr. was not so fortunate. The Spaniard finished thirteenth after running fourth for most of the race. The challenging Silverstone Circuit applied immense pressure to drivers looking to reap the rewards in Sunday's race, yet it also caused a great deal of stress for the tyres as well.
