Starting on softs should be the fastest option according to Pirelli

Pirelli brought the three hardest tyre compounds to Great Britain. Despite the fact that Lewis Hamilton, among others, has chosen to start on the medium tyre, Pirelli thinks that is the third fastest option for the race. Starting on softs is the fastest option Silverstone is a really high speed circuit where the tires are often very heavy. It won't be as hot today as it was last Friday and after Pirelli's calculations the tyre supplier thinks a one-stop strategy will be the fastest today. The drivers who start on the soft tyres will benefit the most.
