Earlier this evening it was announced that the Hungarian Grand Prix will remain on the calendar for an extra year until 2027. Now also the Belgian Grand Prix seems to have obtained a contract extension of one year. Contract renewal This is what the Spa Francorchamps racetrack says in a statement on its website. Vanessa Maes, CEO of Spa Grand Prix initially says that she is happy with the race in 2020: "The preservation of this event was made possible thanks to the effort and cooperation of the Walloon government, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the RACB, the FIA but also the FOM."
