Marko makes a remarkable statement: 'Hope to shake hands with anxious Verstappen'

Helmut Marko has indicated that Max Verstappen is not taking any risks in preparation for the start of the season in Austria. The Red Bull Racing advisor states that the Limburger has already cancelled several events in recent weeks because it would not be safe enough. Bovendiet, the 77-year old Austrian, makes the striking statement that he hopes to be able to shake hands with Verstappen again at the beginning of July. When asked what happens if Verstappen turns out to have contracted the coronavirus, Marko laughs: "There is no one who can replace Max. But we have the Brazilian Sergio Sette Camara, who can replace both teams (Red Bull and AlphaTauri, ed.)", he explains. Read...
