Abiteboul sees Alonso as an option for 2021: 'Take the time to think'

Cyril Abiteboul has confirmed that Fernando Alonso has the option of replacing Daniel Ricciardo. However, the team boss of Renault argues that for the time being the focus is on performing in 2020 and for this reason the Frenchman also finds it crazy that McLaren and Ferrari presented the drivers for 2021 so early in the year. "There are several options, Alonso is one of them, but there are several excellent drivers available for 2021", let Abiteboul hint to RMC Sport. Possibly Sebastian Vettel is also on the list.
