Doornbos expects Verstappen to become even stronger: 'Especially behind scenes'

Last year Max Verstappen proved, according to Robert Doornbos, that he is ready to seize the world title. According to the former Formula 1 driver it's now up to Red Bull Racing to make sure that Verstappen actually gets that chance. "Max has proven that he can do it," says Doornbos in conversation with Formule 1 Magazine. The analyst believes that it is now up to Christian Horner and Helmut Marko to make the RB16 so competitive that Verstappen can compete with Mercedes every Grand Prix weekend.
