McLaren confirms the signing of Daniel Ricciardo

McLaren Racing announced today that it has signed Daniel Ricciardo to a multi-year agreement to race for the team in the Formula One World Championship from 2021. After Ferrari announced that it has signed Carlos Sainz for the coming F1 season, McLaren has confirmed that Daniel Ricciardo would be joining the Woking-based outfit as of 2021. Born in Perth in 1989, Ricciardo made his F1 debut for the HRT Team in 2011. The following season saw the Australian join the Toro Rosso outfit where he spent a two-year tenure. Joining Sebastian Vettel in 2014, he stepped up to Red Bull Racing in 2014. The seven-time GP winner left the energy drink-owned team at the end of 2018 and joined the Renault F1...
