Silverstone open to hosting multiple races

Silverstone boss, Stuart Pringle, is open to the idea of helping Formula 1 if a revised schedule was to include multiple races at one circuit. While race organisers are giving themselves until the end of April to make a decision on whether to postpone/cancel the British Grand Prix on July 19, they are keeping other alternative options on the table in the eventuality that a new 2020 season calendar can be fulfilled. One idea put to Pringle was Silverstone hosting more than one Grand Prix later in the year and that would be possible given that they can be more flexible than other venues such as street circuits.
