Racing Point won't ‘take it easy' during enforced break

Racing Point has backed F1's decision to defer the new regulations by a year but insists that doesn't mean the team will take it easy when F1 finally gets onto the track. The 2020 Formula 1 season has been delayed by at least three months with Canada currently down as the first race of the championship. However, the race's organisers say they will make a decision in the next 'two to three' weeks about whether to press ahead with plans for the June 14 race. With the season on hold and teams facing massive financial losses, the team bosses agreed with Liberty Media and the FIA to defer next year's regulations by a year.
