Stroll and Perez to join Esports events

Racing Point boss, Otmar Szafnauer, has revealed Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll will be representing the team in Esports events in the coming weeks. With no physical racing until June at the very earliest, Esports racing is taking centre stage with Max Verstappen and Lando Norris in particular keeping their competitive edge largely intact. Formula 1 has launched its own ‘Virtual Grand Prix' series, while Team Redline have been hosting a ‘Real Racers Never Quit' series which features 40 professional drivers on the iRacing platform.
