McLaren staff test negative for coronavirus

Carlos Sainz and McLaren crew members walk the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit McLaren has advised that another seven of its Formula 1 team personnel who were tested for coronavirus in Melbourne have returned negative results. The Woking-based team revealed shortly following the cancellation of the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix that another 14 staff had been placed into quarantine in addition to their colleague who tested positive, a result which led to its withdrawal the night prior. McLaren’s latest announcement states that a total of 16 team members were quarantined, but only those further seven were required to be tested.
