Kvyat states “there was nothing wrong with the car” after stopping on track

Daniil Kvyat has said that “there was nothing wrong” with his Alpha Tauri AT01 after he came to a halt in the afternoon session on the first day of the second test in Barcelona. After Pierre Gasly’s stint for Alpha Tauri in the morning was cut short due to a loose pipe there was concern after Kvyat came to a stop at turn 9 at the Circuit de Catalunya towards the end of the afternoon session. His stop on track came shortly after Max Verstappen brought out the red flag at turn 10 after his Red Bull was sent into a spin. But there was no problem with the actual car according to the Russian, instead information from data showed it was better to stop the car than...
