McLaren completes shakedown at Barcelona
McLaren has become the latest team to complete a shakedown after the Woking-based outfit turned its brand-new car, the MCL35 on at the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya. Each team is permitted to complete a filming day during the season when they have to run Pirelli’s special hard tyres and can exceed the running milage of 100km. After Mercedes and Red Bull completed their filming day at Silverstone, Alpha Tauri at Misano and Alfa Romeo at Fiorano, it was McLaren’s turn on Sunday to try their new machine out on a real track.
