Stroll sets target of Aston Martin becoming a ‘top team'

Racing Point boss Otmar Szafnauer has revealed there is a 'clear objective to establish Aston Martin as one of the top teams in the sport' from 2021 onwards. Lawrence Stroll and his consortium recently completed a deal to become a stakeholder in the luxury British carmaker and, as part of the agreement, Racing Point will re-brand as Aston Martin in 2021. The imminent return of such an iconic name has given the team back at Silverstone a huge lift as they work towards some pretty lofty targets in the years to come.
