Brown: Red Bull Can be a Bit Rough on Their Drivers

McLaren's Zak Brown has heaped praise on his driver Carlos Sainz while criticising the Spaniard's former team Red Bull for their treatment of young drivers. Speaking last week at the Autosport International motor show, CEO Brown said the 25-year-old had been 'outstanding' since joining his team at the start of the 2019 season, but hinted things would be different were he still under the infamous stewardship of Helmut Marko, as 'he'd been living under one-year contracts in the whole Red Bull-Toro Rosso environment.'
