Todt has full respect for Mercedes despite Ferrari record being broken

FIA president Jean Todt insists he has "full respect" for Mercedes' achievements over the past six years - even though the Silver Arrows beat a Ferrari record he helped earn during his time as a team principal. In 2019, Lewis Hamilton won the driver’s championship while the team won the constructors’ championship, which made it their sixth double in a row since 2014.
