Lewis Hamilton: “Every is trying to leave their team” to join Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton has said that “everyone is trying to leave their team” and join Mercedes for 2021 with boss Toto Wolff receiving calls from most top drivers whilst reiterating his interests to stay with the team. Hamilton is out of contract with the Silver Arrows, as is teammate Valtteri Bottas, for 2021, as well as Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen producing an interesting situation for who will be driving for who. The Briton said at the FIA end-of-season awards that one of the drivers who had been on stage had been in contact with Wolff about a possible seat, as Verstappen, who had been up earlier, was linked with a move earlier in the...
