Racing Point’s Sergio Perez described his last-lap pass on Lando Norris as one of the best of his career, as he moved to the front of the midfield battle in Abu Dhabi. Perez lost ground early on but extended his first stint on Mediums before coming on for Hard tyres during the closing stages. Perez worked his way past rivals, and gained when others switched to a two-stop strategy, and reeled in Norris through the final lap.
