Romain Grosjean reckons if it weren't for Carlos Sainz pushing him wide and a drop in tyre temperature he may have recorded Haas' first-ever F1 podium in Brazil. Grosjean started the Interlagos race seventh on the grid and, after a solid showing in the race, was running P7 when the Safety Car came out for Valtteri Bottas' stricken W10. However, it all went wrong at the restart. The Frenchman's VF19 suffered a drop-off in tyre temperature that made it easy for Sainz to attack him for position.
