Steiner uneasy on F1 cost saving measures for 2021

Haas boss Guenther Steiner believes Formula 1’s proposed cost cap for 2021 will only partially succeed in bringing the field closer together. In a bid to create a more level playing field among teams and help reduce financial spend as part of its technical and sporting regulation overhaul for 2021, F1 plans to implement a $175m cost cap. The cost cap is set to be phased in across a three-year timeline, beginning with a soft implementation in 2021.
