Russell feels that Williams overachieved in Japan

It was another difficult weekend for Williams, George Russell coming through in 18th place and Robert Kubica in 19th at the Japanese Grand Prix, but Russell believes that the team can take plenty of positives from the race. Russell finished where he started, also qualifying in 18th earlier in the day as he pitted on the 25th lap, running a one-stop race. "Qualifying was incredibly tricky to be honest, especially through the Esses. It made it unpredictable, and it was pretty sketchy on my lap, but I gave it everything and I think overall, we overachieved so I was pleased with that," Russel said in the Williams post-race report.
