FIA acknowledges Racing Point's Renault protest

Hours after the Japanese Grand Prix finished, the drama continues to unfold. The FIA have confirmed they have received a protest from Racing Point regarding the braking systems of the Renault vehicles.  Renault is said to have installed a system on the cars of Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo which offers the option of using a preset, varying, brake balance over a lap. The protest has been accepted by the FIA but no decision will be made in the immediate future.
