Daniel Ricciardo failed to escape from Q1 during Sunday's qualifying session in Japan. The Renault driver struggled to get the best out of the car in the opening session of the day. His teammate Nico Hulkenberg only managed P15 after engine issues in Q2.  A frustrated Ricciardo spoke to Sky Sports and was very honest with his review.  "It is what it is, we didn't have much time to get it right, we just didn't.
