Norris reveals what boosted his confidence ahead of his McLaren drive

Lando Norris may be in his debut F1 season but the 19-year-old has impressed making a credible partner for Carlos Sainz. The Brit impressed during some testing sessions during 2018 and he's revealed what these did for his confidence ahead of his permanent move.  Norris sits 14th in the Drivers' Championship with 25 points, a respectable return for the rookie. His previous experience in a Formula 1 car came at the Belgian Grand Prix during the 2018 season which included outperforming Stoffel Vandoorne who was one of McLaren's full-time drivers at the time.
