Breaking: Italian Grand Prix secure five-year contract

The Italian Grand Prix has secured a new five-year contract. F1 confirmed the 22 race calendar last week, with the Monza track only on there provisionally as they waited for a new deal to be "finalised". This all means that the circuit at Monza will remain on the grid until 2024 with the gird heading there this weekend in the second race following the summer break. The news was announced at an event celebrating 90 years of Scuderia Ferrari, who's home circuit is at Monza. The Italian Grand Prix in 2020 will take place on the 6th of September. More to follow....
