Formula 1 confirms Spanish Grand Prix to remain on calendar for 2020

The Spanish Grand Prix will remain a feature of the Formula 1 calendar next year, with confirmation of a one-year extension. The Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona had been due to drop off the calendar because of financial troubles, but talks have been underway for some time with the organisers and local government to secure a short-term deal to allow for further negotiations to take place.
