Alfa Romeo set to put Tatiana Calderon behind the wheel in Paul Ricard test
Alfa Romeo are set to give female racer Tatiana Calderon an opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car when they put her behind the wheel in Paul Ricard at the end of the month. The news comes at an interesting time as David Coulthard has said that he thinks female racers are able to compete in Formula 1. Could this be the start of more women racing in the sport? The French Grand Prix was a few months ago now but the circuit is used for testing throughout the year by Pirelli and Formula 1 teams giving inexperienced drivers an opportunity in their cars.
