Masi backtracks on Germany's dragster tarmac

Although Michael Masi initially dismissed drivers' concerns about the Hockenheimring's dragster tarmac, the F1 race director now says he is open to making changes. This year's German Grand Prix took place at a wet Hockenheimring. This caused chaos and excitement, although not all the drivers were happy with it. There were many slips and slides with Charles Leclerc and Nico Hulkenberg both sliding off the track and into the barriers. Leclerc described the slippery tarmac as 'unacceptable' while Hulkenberg said it was 'insanse'.
