Hungarian Grand Prix – Pierre Gasly led Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in an unrepresentative FP2 before steady rain staggered proceedings. In tricky conditions with varying levels of track grip, Gasly's early soft-tyre effort of 1:17.854 was enough to top the second free practice session before intensifying rain prevented any further slick-tyre running.
