German Grand Prix – Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas was frustrated to lose out on a chance to close the championship points deficit to team-mate Lewis Hamilton after crashing out at the Hockenheimring. After competing against Hamilton and Red Bull's Max Verstappen for much of the race, the Finn was running in fourth place in the closing stages of the race, with Hamilton out of the points after mid-race dramas.
