Haas F1 will not base its 2020 car to 'fit the Pirelli tyres'

Haas F1 has confirmed it will not design its 2020 Formula 1 car to fit the tyres designed by Pirelli; despite its constant struggles this season. Haas finished fifth in the constructors' championship in 2018 after only entering Formula One back in 2016, but this season they sit only above Williams in the standings after a dismal campaign thus far - summed up by its double-DNF in Great Britain last time out. The car's speed is usually very good and has been fourth-fastest on the grid at numerous times this season, but its race-pace has been the element that has let them down the most.
