Aston Martin Red Bull Racing came within 0.2s of pole position as three of the four Honda-powered cars will start from the top ten at the British Grand Prix. Daniil struggled to get his car into the right operating window and was unfortunate to drop out in Q1 by just 0.072s as he ended up 17th on the grid. His Toro Rosso team-mate Alex advanced along with Max and Pierre, with all three also performing well in Q2 to make it through to the top ten shootout.
