McLaren locks in Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lando Norris for 2020 F1 season

McLaren has confirmed that Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lando Norris will continue to race for the team in Formula 1 in 2020. Sainz Jr. joined McLaren for 2019 after previous spells at Toro Rosso and Renault, while long-term junior Norris graduated to the championship with McLaren off the back of finishing runner-up in Formula 2. Both drivers were on long-term deals with McLaren and on Tuesday the team duly confirmed that it will field an unchanged line-up next season. McLaren has enjoyed an improved on-track performance this season off the back of changes implemented through 2018, with the team currently fourth in the standings.
