Ricciardo wants Renault to replicate McLaren's package

Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo wants his team to try and copy McLaren's engine package this season to try and replicate the form of the British team so far this term. Renault suffered a very underwhelming start to the season, but in Monaco and Canada - Ricciardo enjoyed successive top 10 finishes - but has now failed to score in the previous two grands prix. McLaren's form has been superb recently and they are in P4 in the constructors' championship - boasting the 'Best of the Rest' status - that, of course, Renault held last season.
