Russell set for pit-lane start in Austria

George Russell is set to start the Austrian Grand Prix from the pit lane after Williams broke parc ferme rules to change the front wing on his car. Russell had been due to start the race in 18th, with a rid penalty in place after blocking Daniil Kvyat in Q1. Article continues under video Many cars have suffered damage over the Red Bull Ring's savage 'sausage' kerbs and it seems Russell may have done damage in his brief qualifying outing on Saturday. Starting from the back of the grid with engine penalties, Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz will jump up to 18th and 19th on the grid respectively as a result.
