Russell apologises to Kvyat for quali blocking

Austrian Grand Prix – Williams' George Russell says there was nothing malicious about the block on Daniil Kvyat that resulted in him being given a three place grid penalty. The Williams driver was given a three place grid penalty after qualifying for being found to have blocked Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat in Q1. The Russian driver was on a fast lap at the end of the session when he encountered the Williams going slowly around the second last corner. Kvyat couldn't take the corner properly and ran wide, he was knocked out of qualifying moments later. Russell was then given a three place grid penalty, meaning he will start from P20 on Sunday.
