Hamilton given three place grid penalty for blocking Raikkonen

Austrian Grand Prix – Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has been given a three place grid penalty for blocking Kimi Raikkonen during Q1. Hamilton may have finished P2 at the end of the qualifying hour at the Red Bull Ring, but has been demoted to fifth following a stewards enquiry afterwards. Hamilton was investigated for allegedly blocking the Alfa Romeo of Kimi Raikkonen during Q1, the Finn having to back out of a flying lap after the Mercedes got in his way at Turn 3. Hamilton had been on an out lap when the Alfa caught up with him approaching the corner, with Hamilton switching to the inside and going out wide.
