Abiteboul: Communication crisis has been hard to manage at Renault

Renault boss Cyril Abiteboul has admitted how difficult it has been to properly manage a "communication crisis" within the French-works team. At the start of the season, there was endless optimism within the Renault garage, after a strong season in 2018 - boosted with the introduction of talented driver Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull. However, the team struggled in the first few races, with familiar problems surrounding reliability becoming apparent once again. The French team responded excellently in Canada - scoring a double-points haul, with Ricciardo even qualifying in P4!
