Ferrari requests right of review over Sebastian Vettel case

Ferrari has confirmed that it is pressing ahead with a right to review, regarding the incident involving Sebastian Vettel at Formula 1’s Canadian Grand Prix. Vettel led Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve but ran wide at Turn 4 on lap 48 and 70. Stewards deemed that Vettel re-joined the track in an unsafe manner and forced the pursuing Hamilton to take evasive action. Vettel was handed a five-second time penalty by stewards and, while he crossed the line in first place, the sanction demoted him to the runner-up position.
